This model was commissioned to be displayed in Liverpool John Moores bi-century exhibition, celebrating the first college that formed the university opening 200 years ago. The piece was a scale model of the Byrom Street building that was constructed when the school first became a polytechnic. The model was made out of birch plywood, white card for the windows and was laser cut in layers, then stacked.
